Introduction

The rolling mill cooling bed is one of the indispensable auxiliary equipment for the small and medium bar workshop. Its function is to transfer the bar rolled by the rolling mill and cut by the flying shear to the length of the double-length bar and discharge it to the cooling rack to cool it, and the temperature is reduced from 900 ° C to 100 ~ 300 ° C, then it is collected into a group by the cooling bed unloading device and sent to the output roller, finally they are sent to the cold shear to cut into finished products by the output roller. The rolling mill cooling bed equipment is mainly used for slow and natural cooling of the steel plate after rolling. In the profile production line, the cooling bed also has a pre-bending function on the profile to prevent the profile from being irregularly bent due to the quality of the various parts during the natural cooling process.

Braking Process


According to the relationship between the rolling speed of the finished mill and the critical speed, the braking process of the rolling piece in the cold bed can be divided into different stages. When the rolling speed of the finishing mill is less than the critical speed, the braking process of the cooling bed on the rolling piece has the following two stages.

The first stage: the rolling piece runs down and slides forward on the surface of the brake apron;

The second stage: the rolling piece slides forward between the surface of the brake apron and the outer side wall of the secondary cooling bed.

If the rolling speed of the finished mill is greater than the critical speed, the cooling bed braking process on the rolled piece has the following four stages.

The first stage: the rolling piece runs down and slides forward on the surface of the brake apron;

The second stage: the rolling piece slides forward between the outer side wall of the sub-cooling bed on the surface of the brake apron;

The third stage: the rolling piece runs downward on the inner side wall of the secondary cooling bed, and slides forward;

The fourth stage: the rolling piece slides forward between the two inner side walls of the secondary cooling bed.
