The rolling mill vertical looper is one of the main supporting technologies of the modern high-speed wire rod rolling mill, which can keep the proper amount of sleeve between adjacent frames to realize there is no rolling. In the entire rolling process, from the rolling piece in the next rolling mill bite into the starting sleeve, to the back end of the collection is controlled by the computer.
When the workpiece is pulled between two adjacent frames, the set amount is reduced, and it can play a buffering role, so as to prevent the tension between the frame, so that the cross section of the rolled piece can be reduced, and the precision of the size of the rolled piece can be affected. On the other hand, it absorbs excess rolled pieces to prevent heap steel accidents caused by piling steel.
The Structure of Vertical Looper
The rolling mill vertical looper is composed of sets of the roll(it is pushed by cylinder), back-up roll and looper groove. The sets of roll used to form cover. Side-wall is used to support the element to form the looper. Vertical looper adopts the central pole mount, which is easy to turn on and adjust the mill guide and guard.
The diameter of sets of roll cylinder is Φ160mm; distance is 200mm.
The working altitude of the looper is 100mm higher than the rolling center line.
The highest altitude of the looper is 400mm higher than the rolling center line.
Lubrication and Pneumatic
The transmission parts of vertical looper adopt glycerol manual lubrication.
The air used in the loop and rear brakes are unified offered by the workshop, the pressure to compressed air is around0.4～0.6Mpa.
During the high-speed wire rod rolling mill rolling process, the wire rod has fluctuations in tension caused by dynamic interference, resulting in fluctuations in the size of the rolled piece. The rolling mill vertical looper can eliminate part of the tension and ensure the rolling precision of the rolled piece.
