Air-Cooled Blast Furnace Slag:

Splashing the liquid blast furnace slag on the slag-bed, it will become to be a hard massive crystalline under environmental temperature. After that, we can get varigrained products through the process of crush and sieving.

Expanded or Foamed Blast Furnace Slag:

If the molten blast furnace slag cooling under the condition of adding control water, air or steam, the cooling and solidification process will be accelerated and produce a kind of lightweight or foam products. The difference between the expanded blast furnace slag and slow cooling slag is the relatively high porosity and low bulk density.

Pelletized Blast Furnace Slag:

If the molten blast furnace slag get cooling and solidification in the drum by water and air, can get the non-entity of the pelletized blast furnace slag. By controlling the process, could make the slag crystallization fully for aggregate or make it glassy state suitable for cement raw material. The faster the cooling speed, the more the glass phase, the less the crystalline phase.

Granulated Blast Furnace Slag:

If the blast furnace slag rapid cooling and solidification by use of water, most of the slag will become an amorphous, little or non-crystalline phase. This process produces sand slag particles. The physical structure, granulation particle size and hydraulic of the slag particle make it very suitable for cement additive.

Blast Furnace Slag
