The upper and lower ends of the tie rod have T-shaped screw with opposite rotating direction, which acts as screw pulling down. Because of the weight of bearing seat and upper roll, there is a gap between pull screw and screw nut in roll balancing device. If this clearance is not eliminated, the impact will occur at the clearance, which will affect the stiffness of the whole stand. Therefore, the balance device must be used to balance the weight of the upper bearing seat and the upper roller to eliminate the clearance.
