Introduction


The 4-hi rolling mill unit is composed of motor, gear coupling, reducer, gear coupling, herringbone gear seat, universal joint bracket, universal joint shaft, working machine base, etc. The working roll of the rolling mill is driven by a series of drive mechanisms through a motor.

The rolling pieces are processed by two opposite rotating rolls under pressure to produce plastic deformation. The 4-hi rolling mill completes this process by working rolls. The work roll includes two kinds of motion: rotating and moving. The former is realized by the main drive of the rolling mill and the latter is used to adjust the reduction and control the deformation degree of the rolling piece, which is realized by the rolling mill screw-down device.

The main drive is driven by the main motor through the coupling. After deceleration, the low-speed shaft is connected with the input end of the herringbone gear seat through the gear coupling. The output end drives the upper and lower working rolls through the universal joint shaft respectively to produce rolling motion with equal linear speed and opposite rotation direction.

The working roll of the 4-hi rolling mill has a positive or negative bending plate shape adjustment. The operation and maintenance are simple and the cost of investment is low, so it is especially suitable for the rolling of the medium width metal strip.



Production process

Front coiler→(Unloading car)→Machine front device→ 4-hi main rolling mil→ Machine after the device→After the coiler (Unloading car)→according to demands to arrange the uncoiler, starting straightening machine etc.
